HOW TO EFFECTIVELY USE CLOUD TECHNOLOGIES IN BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT?

The theme of the 8th Computerworld Best in Cloud Conference is Cloud as a tool for business development and innovation centre. What challenges and market conditions drive business to move key systems to the cloud? How does the cloud transform companies and allow them to effectively achieve business goals?

Using examples of selected cloud projects, we will answer the question of how to use the cloud to bring real technical and business value and act as a catalyst for development and innovation. We will present experiences and practical conclusions of the organization from the preparation and implementation of complex projects of migration to the cloud. We are witnessing interesting changes on the Polish cloud market. In the government's plans for digitalization, the cloud has taken an important place, works are under way to launch a national cloud for the public sector organisations. Will cloud solutions become a standard in the Polish administration? In 2019, the National Cloud Operator together with Google Cloud decided on a strategic partnership. Thanks to this cooperation, the Google cloud will put a server room into operation in Poland from which services will be provided in Poland and Central Europe. How will this cooperation transform the cloud market in Poland? Will it be a response to the most important barriers hindering the adoption of cloud solutions in Poland?
